Originally from Atlanta, GA, Stewart first came to Memphis to attend law school. He earned his undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern University, where he served as president of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He then went on to earn his juris doctor from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis. While in law school, Stewart was a member of both the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and the Federalist Society. He also served as a Law School Student Ambassador for the University of Memphis. In addition, he served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Court of Appeals of Georgia and as a clerk for the local firm, Stone Higgs & Drexler. 

Stewart authored an article that was published by the Florida Entertainment and Sports Law Review (FESLR), a student-run, legal journal at the University of Florida's Fredric G. Levin College of Law. His article is titled, Who Really Runs Sports?: The Power of Stakeholders and Benefits of Stakeholder Theory in Sports. He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Association's Entertainment & Sports Law Section.

In his new role at Moskovitz, McGhee, Brown, Cohen & Moore, Stewart's practice focuses exclusively on family law matters including divorce, custody, child support and related legal issues.

When he’s not working, Stewart enjoys working out and watching sports. Some of his favorite professional sports teams to root for are the Atlanta Falcons, the Atlanta Braves, and the Atlanta Hawks. He also enjoys watching Auburn football.
