Jack was born and raised in Memphis and graduated from Memphis University School in 1993. In 1997, he graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a B.A. in history and business. He then returned to Memphis and earned his juris doctor from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2001. 

Jack’s trial practice is a diverse mix of civil and criminal cases in both state and federal court. His civil practice focuses on representing plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death cases; commercial litigation, including breach-of-contract and business torts; and representing policy holders in insurance disputes. As a former prosecutor, Jack has tried virtually every type of criminal case, from DUIs to first degree murder. Now, his criminal practice focuses on complex criminal defense, including serious felonies and federal crimes.
